Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in opportunity/pipeline management (through Salesforce).
- Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.
- Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
- Liaison with Global Sales Operations team to define and roll-out Price List changes.
- Collect essential market and product information required to enable the sales organization to be more knowledgeable of the company’s product strategy and roadmap, and assist the product management team to develop the go-to-market strategy for new products.
- Coordinates and executes training plans for the sales teams.
- Works with Global Sales Operations and Corporate IT on implementing enabling technologies, to sales teams (Salesforce, Quoting, Commission Automation, Deal Approvals)
- Monitors the compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data. Supports the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
- Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs
- Support sales in delivering consistent and timely customer quotations
- Ensure the lead to opportunity process is managed in a way that increases quality and broadness of the opportunity pipeline
- Support sales in customer reference and clinical information essential for accelerating the buying decision process.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
- Reports to the Regional Vice President
- Has a dotted reporting line to the Vice President of Global Sales Operations
- Works closely with the Global Sales Operations team to ensure alignment of terminology, processes, and drive best practices across the organization
- Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales management, and sales and support personnel
- Supports all business in the region – direct and indirect
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations related role
- Superior analytical skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience working with BI (Business Intelligence tools)
- Good understanding of the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process.
- Experience using CRM applications, with specific knowledge of Salesforce.com - Advantasge
- Strategic thinker and analytical skills
- Ability to drive change towards achieving improved business results.
- High energy and comfort working in a fast-paced, global company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; MBA preferred
