Job Description

The incumbent is to act as the main contact person in coordinating operation activities of the assigned customers, also supporting commercial activities, if needed.

Key Outcomes:

  • Support commercial activities of key accounts along with sales manager of the assigned accounts
  • Achieve and maintain operation excellence as per customer requirements
  • Drive new business implementation as per customer timeline
  • Being focal point of contacts for customers, local and overseas stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Commercial Support:

  • Support key account managers on commercial activities such as, but not limited to, ad-hoc quotations, solution study, RFQ strategy based on operation understanding and others
  • Control and update customer tariff, for distribution and execution
  • Follow up solutions and quotations with customers and its acceptance accordingly

Operation / Process Management:

  • Translate customer requirements to internal procedures and requirements
  • Achieve and maintain operation excellence as per requirements
  • Drive process excellence and its improvement including below but not limited to – SOP management, flight matrix management, forecast / peak season management, business contingency plan and others
  • Re-engineer current procedures to enhance efficiency & effectiveness
  • Drive preventive and corrective action plans to achieve operation excellence
  • Revise SOP and distribute to internal stakeholders

Business Implementation:

  • Define and agree procedures with different stakeholders including customers
  • Lead implementation of new programs, coordinating with various internal stakeholders
  • Review internal progress and provide implementation update
  • Ensure process compliance with regular review

Communication Management:

  • Function as contact for customers and overseas stakeholders in regards of operation issues which require immediate support.
  • Be the main bridge between customers and internal stakeholders with good understanding of customer business

Performance Management:

  • Prepare customer specific KPI or statistics for review meeting or regular reports, if needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree with major in Logistics Management or similar
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in Freight forwarding industry
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
  • Good PC knowledge including MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint, Chinese Word Processing
  • Work Location: Kowloon Bay
