Responsibilities:

• Agriculture projects/ activities  
• Contribute to conceptualization, implementation and monitoring of biodiversity conservation projects
• To carry out fieldwork in Mainland China as and when needed
• To help build the capacity, motivation and effectiveness of our local partners
• To collect, analyse and manage data of projects and field surveys
• To support environmental education and sustainable
  
  
  

Requirements

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBGC
• Bachelor of Science degree related to conservation biology, ecology, zoology, botany, or biology
• Experience in biodiversity field survey, conservation project management or protected area management is preferred
• Candidates with lower qualifications and experience will be considered as an Assistant Conservation Officer
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin and English
• Good computer literacy
• Knowledge in GIS and multimedia production would be an advantage
• Good people skills and good understanding of conservation issues in Mainland China
• High level of initiative and ability to work under limited supervision and under pressure
• Physically fit for outdoor work and willing to visit rural communities
• Frequent travel to China is required
• Open minded and recognize the validity of all spiritual paths.
