Responsibilities

• Work in forest area in KFBG, occasionally in other forests of Hong Kong;
• Arrange, guide, supervise and monitor the jobs of landscape and arboricultural contractors;
• Operate bobcat/ forklift/ digger to facilitate arboricultural waste recycling works;
• Communicate with suppliers of arboricultural waste recycling machines;
• Operate the waste recycling machines;
• Maintain and repair machineries;
• Monitor the status of waste recycling;
• Source and lead the procurement of necessary tools and equipment;
• Take part in tree management duties, such as tree survey, tree risk assessment and tree team operation;
• Operate air-spade;
• Handle paperwork such as preparation of drawings, and update of inventories and records.

Requirements

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBGC;
• Form 5 graduate and with 5 years hands-on experience in landscaping;
• Skills in using horticultural and arboricultural equipment such as chainsaw, handsaw, pole saw etc.;
• Possess valid certificate in operating bobcat/ forklift/ digger; recognized by Labor Department would be an advantage;
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
• With valid type II Hong Kong driving License;
• Physically fit for outdoor work;
• Able to work in Public Holiday when required. ;
• Open minded and recognizes the validity of all spiritual paths.
