Role:

• Actively participate in the Group’s strategy and policy formulation in relation to construction aspect
• Lead and monitor all construction activities, project timelines, quality control issues, resolution, and documentation for assigned projects
• Act as a liaison for the Company, architect and other consultants
• Manage all financial aspects and control construction costs for assigned projects
• Create and update summary and status reports on projects.
• Respond proactively to critical emergency services requests in off-hours.  
• Evaluate, identify and implement new ideas, technologies or process improvements to increase organizational efficiencies and cost savings.

Requirement:

• Bachelors Degree holder in civil / structural engineering disciplines
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects, especially public housing as well as design & build projects
• Knowledge of building structures and infrastructure systems
• Knowledge of local building laws
• Understand the basic business practices of the design and construction management process
• Strong project management and organization skills
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Must have the ability to work within a diverse team as well as independently as required
• Demonstrates time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships, and prioritize time and resources accordingly
• Suitable candidate will be considered as Construction Director (Overseas)
