Applicants should possess a Diploma in graphic design or equivalent, preferably with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.  They should have proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and HTML; and a good graphic and typography sense.   Knowledge of photography would be an advantage.  They should also have a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, the ability to work independently, and good time management, and be attentive to details.  The appointee will be responsible for designing and creating marketing materials for both online and offline usage.  He/She will generate visual content, layout and templates for electronic direct mails and websites, and liaise with vendors such as designers, printing companies and production houses as and when required.  Information about the DAAO can be obtained at http://www.hku.hk/daao/.
