Cloud Light provides research, development and manufacturing services of optical solutions, transceivers, active optical cables currently upto 400G mainly for datacom, telecom, automotive market for tier-1 customers globally. Cloud Light has been operated since 2004 as a business unit of a leading Japanese comprehensive electronic component manufacturer in Hong Kong and was spin-off in April 2018 to become an independent company. Cloud Light's R&D center is strategically located in Hong Kong whilst manufacturing plant and reliability and testing labs are located in Dongguan, China. Cloud Light’s R&D team is multinational comprising 32% Ph.D., 48% Master, and 20% Bachelor degree holders.
