The Hong Kong Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (HKCeND) is hosted by HKUST which aims to understand how aging and neurodegenerative
diseases affect humans and answer the key questions to living longer and healthier lives. We aim to elucidate Alzheimer’s disease etiology, identify novel therapeutic targets and determine risk factors for personalized diagnostics, prognostics, and clinical
interventions.
HKCeND unites internationally renowned aging and neuroscientists to establish a regional collaborative hub for advanced research into aging and
create invaluable opportunities to train the next generation of scientists
