Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Hong Kong local regulators including HKMA, SFC, HK Deposit Protection Board, Joint Financial Intelligence Unit etc., and co-ordinate with internal business departments for routine or ad-hoc regulatory surveys, inspections or reports;
• Perform high-level analysis on new regulations or circulars, assess their impact on the branch’s business or product;
• Perform routine review on the staff’s personal securities account statement, and partner with the AML Reporting Officer to perform routine review on AML record;
• Assist the Head of Compliance to perform product related review, primarily on transactional banking related products;
• Support the Head of Compliance in reviewing Compliance issues and risks on new products or services, systems, procedures, etc.;
• Perform Compliance testing of key regulations to identify the gaps.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Banking, Legal, Compliance or related disciplines with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Hong Kong;
• Experience in handling product review related work is a plus;
• Excellent knowledge in Hong Kong local regulations;
• Analytical, detailed-oriented and strong interpersonal skill
• Able to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
