Job Responsibilities:

• Execute primary bond trades for banking book in both onshore China bond market and offshore bond market
• Perform hedging for the bond portfolio
• Perform credit analysis and research report on Chinese issuers, in particular of investment grade POE and LGFV
• Prepare and write credit proposal for limit application and review
• Conduct market analysis of China and offshore bond markets
• Conduct pre/post trades checking and control
• Assume ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Team Head e.g. UAT, new product application, regulatory update etc.

 Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related disciplines
• Proven experience in bond trading role within a leading financial institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fixed income related working experience including fixed income trading, credit analysis, asset management, etc.
• Extensive and in-depth knowledge of China Credit Bond markets
• Exposure with China onshore interest rate and bond products is an advantage
• Familiar with dealing systems, such as Bloomberg, TSOX, TOMS, WINDS and China Bond Connect system
• Knowledge in bond accounting and hedge accounting
• Proficient in computer applications, such as VBA, Excel, Word etc
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Acute analytical and report writing ability;
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently;
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent in Putonghua is highly preferable.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager Level
