Roles and Duties

• Align efforts from various functional departments in driving the preparation for the annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) submission by consolidating all input from business units (BU) globally into the prescribed report format, thoroughly examine the data and conduct verification before submission.
• Play a leading role in the full implementation and revamp of Environmental Information System (EIS) including Scope 3 emission data through heavy engagement with the vendor and business units, and work closely with Group IT to ensure the design functions are met.
• Heavily involved in driving the use of the system ICRM Tool for the Internal Control & Risk Management (ICRM) self-assessment reports consolidated from BUs across the group.
• Play a leading role in the administration of Group Safety Portal, Group Security Portal and ESG Portal including their respective system revamp to ensure they are fully utilized and information shared by BUs across the group.
• Assist Director - SSE in the administration of Group Safety Committee, Group Security Committee and Group Sustainability Committee and in the implementation and monitoring of annual initiatives of safety, security and sustainability to deliver the target outcomes.
• Assist Director - SSE in implementing the global decarbonization strategy including greenhouse gas emission reduction targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring.
• Support Senior Manager - Safety & Security and Senior Manager - Environment by providing back office support.
• Monitor the submission of regular safety, security & environment reports from BUs across the group and ensure the alignment of the quality of reports.
• Play an active role in analyzing the annual statistics on group safety incident and produce reports accordingly.
• Play as a primary contact point on SSE related issues for BUs across the group.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with effective written and verbal communication skill.
• Computer skills in particular on data analysis.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently while at the same time can be a good team member.
• Solid sustainability related and organizing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through deadlines/projects simultaneously under minimal supervision.
• Tertiary education a must. Degree holder in environment or sustainability management is a definite advantage.
• Processing at least 3 years of sustainability/ environment related working experience is an important advantage.
