Role Profile:

As part of Information Technology - Corporate Services team focusing on system development and support for local & global users, you will have great opportunities to work with a vast spectrum of Subject Experts across the globe.  You will be engaged in a wide range of projects that providing production support and implementation services for local and global Corporate Systems.  It would allow you to utilize and expand your functional expertise and professional network while gaining understanding and insight into a large-scale global organization.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Gather requirement, analyze and evaluate with operational analysis to come up with requirement specification and solution design documents.
• Produce system design and functional specifications for all new and existing development projects.
• Produce detailed data model & flow charts outlining systems processes and business processes.
• Perform gap analysis on business workflow to identify the customization/change requirement.
• Responsible for system development for strategic business initiatives as well as maintenance of existing application systems.
• Conduct system testing and document testing results.
• Facilitate user training and user acceptance testing for local and overseas corporate systems users.
• Ensure development and testing quality of work done prior to application releases.
• Deploy solutions projects around Microsoft cloud such as Office 365, Microsoft 365, Azure and related applications.
• Perform IT support to Hutchison Ports corporate users and overseas users, including but not limited to:
  • Monitor performance and provide troubleshooting for systems, hardware and software
  • Administer and handle end users’ queries for application systems

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in application support & system development.
• Experience in Java/J2EE, JSP, Java Script, JSON, Python, PHP, HTML, XML, SQL.
• Experience in Jasper Report, Restful API and web application server (e.g. Tomcat, Weblogic, IIS, etc)
• Familiar with Maven and Eclipse.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online, PowerApps and Power Automate Platform is a plus.
• Experienced in supporting Microsoft Applications (e.g. Office 365, Skype/Teams and Office 365) on different operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux and Mac OS, Android and IOS).
• Experience in relational database design/development in Oracle, Microsoft SQL and MySql.
• Customer-focused with strong system analysis and problem-solving skill.
• Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English and Chinese.
• Committed, responsible, highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Self-learned programming skills will be an asset.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Programmer.
