Our client is a leading property developer with malls, residential and commercial property portfolios in both Hong Kong and China. They are currently looking for a seasoned PR candidate to strategize and execute their corporate’s PR projects including media relations, press release, financial comms, crisis management and corporate events in both Hong Kong & China.

Job Description

Reporting to Head of Public Relations, you would be responsible for:

-      Assist in media communications and event organization for internal/external corporate initiatives in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

-      Collaborate with team members for financial communications projects such as results announcement, annual/interim report, media conference and interview, media tour, etc.

-      Coordinate with marketing and service delivery departments of the properties across the Company’s Hong Kong portfolio to ensure alignment of corporate communication guidelines, and provide advice on issue management from a corporate perspective.

-      Provide editorial and logistics support for corporate communications, including but not limited to key messages, line-to-take, press release, corporate website updates, congratulatory advertisements, social media posts, etc.

-      Help maintain the Company’s media relations such as keeping rapport with journalists, organizing gatherings, handling inquiries, etc.

-      Liaise with PR agencies and/or suppliers to carry out day-to-day duties

-      Conduct news monitoring and social listening and relevant analysis

-      Provide advice for senior executives’ speaking opportunities and corporate award applications, and develop corresponding materials as needed

-      Support issues/crisis management and ad hoc projects of the Company

Successful applicant

-      Degree holder in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related discipline

-      At least 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, branding or marketing

-      Strong media connections in Hong Kong especially correspondents of international media

-      Strong bilingual copywriting skills and excellent command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua

-      Knowledge of Hong Kong property market and social media management will be an advantage

-      Proactive, energetic, creative and excellent interpersonal communications skills

-      Ability to multi-task and work independently with hard deadlines
