Job Description

The Department

The staff will support the secretariat and core operations of Institute of Philanthropy (“IoP”). The staff will be part of the IoP team, supporting particularly on the administration and operations of the secretariat while working with internal and external stakeholders and contractors as well.

 

The Job

  • Support the secretariat of IoP and implementation of IoP’s core work streams and related strategic initiatives.
  • Support convening and networking events, multi-disciplinary forums and programmes to convene thought leaders, scholars, practitioners, and members of the public for knowledge sharing and social change ideas development related to philanthropy
  • Drive research and analysis of philanthropy landscape and issues relevant to philanthropy
  • Consolidate and analyse internal institutional knowledge materials and prepare presentation materials to communicate findings. Curate and translate content for different audience groups.
  • Manage administrative processes, coordinate with Club divisions in key processes including budget monitoring and reporting, vendor engagement and procurement, and branding and communications

 

About You

  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in fields related to philanthropy (broadly include academia, non-profit, sustainability, health, social science, etc.)
  • Knowledge of global and/or Mainland philanthropy sector will be an advantage
  • Have excellent communication skills (in both English and Chinese), and project development and management skills
  • Business development competence and Project management skills
  • Events organization and management experience
  • Strong analytical abilities and ability to apply strategic frameworks and problem solving approaches
  • Database management/ CRM system skills

 

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
