Responsibilities

The Senior Travel Manager is responsible for driving sales, business development, retail presentation, training, and brand building activities in designated markets, the Greater China and Asia Pacific.
 

• Responsible for achieving sales (comp and total sales), shipments and for delivering on business development objectives.
• Build and nurture relationship with travel retail operators and airport authorities, participating in negotiations of business development, budgets, target setting and coaching them to understand and embrace the brand’s vision
• Review the KPI and productivity reports with management. Provide feedback, coaching and direction on performance.
• Analyze and report on product category performance, competitive initiatives, and ad hoc reports with recommendations on how to grow the business
• Monitor and follow up seasonal sales strategies to drive incremental business (new introductions, product category initiatives, sales promotion, VM enhancements) 
• Manage customer product assortment and provide trainings to ensure staffs’ knowledge is up to brand’s standard
• Identify new business development opportunities
• Identify TR customers' needs through research, competition intelligence, feedback from the retailers and translate them into a growth opportunity for the TR channel
• Experience with international fashion brands especially RTW is a plus

Requirements
 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or related disciplines
• Over 5 years of travel retail experience in luxury retail, preferably in fashion RTW
• Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen
• Team player with strong initiative and at ease within multicultural environment
• Strong communication, inter-personal & presentation skills
• Good fashion sense and understand the APAC market trends & update
• Entrepreneurial mindset and creative
• Can work under tight schedule and pressure
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excellent MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) skills required
