This role is based in Lever Style Shenzhen office, with daily commuting shuttle provided between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. 

Head of Supply Chain Management plays the strategic and integral role in Lever Style apparel supply chain.

The incumbent is accountable for ensuring Lever Style has a high-quality manufacturing partner network worldwide that consistently meets brand customers' needs. Working closely and extensively with leaders in sales operations, marketing, product development, digital transformation, etc., this role defines sourcing strategy and aligns manufacturing & vendor partners with the right mix of capacity and capability, to deliver the best products and services.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and deployment of company global sourcing strategies and initiatives. This includes the multi-jurisdiction production sourcing with flexibility and agility to support business growth objectives.

2. Create the playbook and oversee the execution of the qualification, onboarding, management, and development of manufacturing partners.

3. Lead technical development with proprietary know-how and product category expertise, including denim, sweater, seamless and intimates, outdoor & activewear, woven tailoring, etc.

4. Ensure standardization (with allowance for regionalization, as necessary) of Lever Style sourcing strategy, policies and processes worldwide. Source, evaluate and onboard new manufacturers for technical competence, quality, cost and compliance matters in China, ASEAN, South Asia, EMEA countries. Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful manufacturers.

5. Align negotiated terms with manufacturing partners and suppliers in accordance with Lever Style financial goals.

6. Accountable for the supply forecasting to ensure capacity by product category and service offering to meet brand customer's technical, lead time and cost requirements.

7. Provide overall leadership on quality assurance department and factory compliance department, and drive sustainability initiatives alongside the production process.

Requirements:  

1. Bachelor degree or above.

2. Over 15-year experience in fashion & apparel industry, and well-versed with garment supply chain and vendor management. Experience in offshoring and nearshoring garment production.

3. Ability to conduct difficult negotiations and sustain good working relationships.

4. Strong leadership and people management skill. Business acumen and commercial sense.

5. Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data.

6. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, in both Chinese and English.
