Ÿ   Provide clear and empathetic education to patients and their families/carers regarding their illness, prognosis, and care options.

Ÿ   Act as a clinical supervisor and mentor for junior staff and students rotating through the service.

3.      Service Development and Strategic Support

Ÿ   Contribute to the development and evaluation of new, innovative models of care to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

•      Assist the Society in fundraising activities, which may include providing clinical perspectives for grant applications, speaking at donor events, and contributing to awareness campaigns.

•      Attend and contribute to clinical governance and Executive Committee meetings as required.

•      Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Executive Committee to support the Society’s strategic objectives.

Person Specification:

Ÿ   Excellent clinical skills in symptom control and communication in challenging circumstances.

Ÿ   Demonstrable ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Ÿ   Strong teaching and presentation skills, with experience educating both professionals and laypersons.

Ÿ   Empathy, resilience, and a profound commitment to patient-centered care.

3.       Experience & Skills (Desirable)
