Company Description

Our client, a reputable asset management advisor, is seeking experienced finance professionals to join the company as Financial Accountant and Compliance Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting for multiple entities within the group.

• Assist with investment execution related to fund subscriptions, ensuring compliance with all upfront and ongoing AML, KYC, and other tax or regulatory requirements (e.g., CRS, FATCA, Economic Substance).

• Prepare financial statements and collaborate with external tax, legal, and regulatory advisers to ensure timely filing of tax and regulatory reports.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and administrators.

• Create administrative reports as needed, including filings and other documents associated with corporate secretarial and administrative duties.

• Prepare and process intra-company and third-party payments.

• Keep management informed of significant issues as they arise.

• Communicate effectively with external parties, including banks, brokers, fund managers, administrators, custodians, corporate secretaries, registered agents, and tax, legal, and regulatory advisers.

Requirements

• University degree holder with an accounting degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

• Possess strong analytical skills and detail minded for accounting and reporting.

• Capable of working effectively and independently within a family office environment.

• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Cantonese and/ or Mandarin is advantageous.
