Our client is an US-based multinational company seeking a Compliance Analyst (Asia Pacific) to join our regional team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting risk assessment, due diligence, and regulatory compliance activities across multiple markets in the Asia-Pacific region. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative global environment, ensuring adherence to international standards while driving operational excellence and ethical business practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed KYC reviews, evaluating corporate structures, ownership distribution, and affiliations among parent companies, subsidiaries, and related entities.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and due diligence on customers, payment partners, shipping locations, and logistics providers.

• Prepare clear, insightful compliance reports and present risk mitigation recommendations to management.

• Analyze export operations, sanctions data, and financial information to identify and address potential compliance or regulatory risks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reinforce compliance standards and strengthen supply chain risk management.

• Provide support on various ad-hoc compliance projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in compliance, risk assessment, or KYC within regional or multinational organizations.

• Strong knowledge of sanctions, export controls, AML, and related regulatory frameworks.

• Exceptional communication skills in English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian languages is a plus.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
