Job description:

The Optics Engineer to lead advanced research and development on tunable laser chips based on metasurface structures and their application in optical fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensing systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, fabricating, and characterizing next-generation laser sources that enable high-resolution, high-speed, and multi-parameter sensing applications. Their responsibilities include high-level experimental design, device testing, and data analysis, ensuring the project yields high-quality research outcomes.

Requirement:

Applicants for the Senior Researcher post should a master’s degree in optical engineering or a related discipline with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.

Applicants for all posts should:

(a)    have excellent written and oral communication skills in English;

(b)    be proficient in COMSOL, MATLAB, and SolidWorks;

(c)    have experience in conducting optical measurements.

Preference will be given to those with experience in fiber optic sensors & metasurface.
