Responsibilities:

• Define and govern the data vision, policies, standard & framework that aligns with the Company’s strategic objectives, regulatory requirements and Head Office standards & framework

• Assist team head to manage data governance activities. Formulate and implement strategies for data governance to ensure a robust data infrastructure and process management is in place across the Company

• Assist in data related documentation maintenance as well as ongoing monitor and regular review for meeting the data governance standard and framework

• Bridging technology, process and business and other stakeholders to solicit their buy-in and subsequent joint efforts in defining, prioritizing and implementing data governance initiatives

• Responsible for rolling out any data governance related initiatives – planning, execution and providing coordination and direction for data quality management activities, helping to establish data ownership, drive and collaborate with IT and business departments

• Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data and Information Management, Business Administration or related discipline. Master degree is an advantage

• Minimum 5 years' experience in data governance, data quality management, preferably within the retail industry

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior role

• Proven experience in implementing data governance policies and procedures

• Strong understanding of data standards, data quality framework and data governance best practices

• Proficient in Chinese and Mandarin

• Strong leadership, organizational, problem solving, influencing and communication skills
