CEO (RO4,9) - Fund investment

Our client is a private equity with SFC 1, 4 and 9 licenses in Central and is looking for a CEO to head the fund investment and the whole operations :-

Requirements :

• Degree in finance, banking, accounting, economics, business or related studies. Other qualifications such as MBA, CFA, CPA, LLB are a plus
• Has more than 10 years fund investment management solid experience in which the recent 5 years or above at CEO or Managing Director level heading a financial company
• SFC RO 4 and 9 is preferred but not a must
• Has investment or industry experience in technology or TMT or Artificial Intelligence (AI) or emerging industries is an added advantage
• Possess family office or other institutions’ equities and bonds investment portfolio management experience. Those has fund investment experience is preferred
• Has private equity, equity fund or bond fund raising exposure, successful track records in take over and merger of investment projects
• Great leadership, with vision and excellent investment and management power
• Has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Capable to command fluent English, Putonghua and Cantonese

Duties :

• In charge of the fund investment portfolio by setting strategic in depth investment analysis, source and in charge of the execution of take over and merger of investment projects, manage the whole investment process and achieve good returns
• Organize the information gathering, analysis, building up and expand the investment project base, source and select the investment projects;
• Handle properties, equities, bonds and private equity, secondary markets’ deal design, origination, industries research and analysis, project assessment, deal execution and investment management
• Responsible of the fund management of secondary market investment by proposing the investment decision to pick the stocks, bonds and fund and the portfolio management
• Handle investment focus in emerging industry markets such as technology, TMT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital hardware, education, etc. Related analysis, deal sourcing and selection  
• Set up offshore fund and to build up the return records for third parties investment
• Assist in deal execution including research and analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, legal negotiations and preparing investment memos
• Liaise with SFC and related parties in license issues
