Our client is a leading insurance company, who provides credit enhancement products. Due to their team expansion, they are looking for an Underwriter who will support the underwriting activities and manage a profitable business portfolio. This new Underwriter is expected to handle underwriting new business and renewals of high complexity and volume.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Managing Director and maintain good relationship with both internal and external parties

• Perform underwriting procedures for mortgage loans as required

• Manage stakeholders’ exceptions on credit criteria guidelines

• Gather information for the loan origination process

• Update credit and underwriting policies and compile financial report regularly 

• Conducts loan audits to match with program guidelines

• Monitor regional economic trends

Requirement:

• Degree holder with loan underwriting experience

• Knowledge and experience of the Mortgage Insurance Program (MIP) preferred

• Strong analytical skills and clear communications

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
