Job Description
Administrative Officer (Special Educational Needs), Student Affairs Office (Ref.: 25/145/SAO/AO/SEN)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Officer to join our Student Affairs Office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing campus inclusivity and providing comprehensive support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
Duties:
1. Develop, coordinate, and implement inclusive campus activities and programs;
2. Deliver targeted skill-building training and workshops for SEN students;
3. Coordinate and facilitate university-wide support services for students with diverse learning needs;
4. Collect, analyze, and report data related to SEN support services and program effectiveness;
5. Prepare comprehensive reports and maintain accurate records; and
6. Perform additional duties as required to support the Office's objectives.
Appointment Criteria:
1. A recognized bachelor's degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related disciplines is preferred;
2. Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in SEN services or related field;
3. Demonstrated maturity with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities;
4. Strong organizational and project management capabilities;
5. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple responsibilities effectively; and
6. High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
