About the Role
We are working with a marine insurance provider with a strong presence in Asia who is seeking an experienced Risk Management & Compliance professional to join its growing team in Hong Kong. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring robust risk controls and regulatory compliance across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Procedure Development: Design, implement, and maintain risk management policies, procedures, frameworks, and manuals that comply with regulatory standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations by tracking regulatory changes, managing reporting obligations, and providing compliance guidance.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee internal controls and deliver accurate risk reports to senior management and the board.
• Control Implementation: Collaborate with business units to implement effective controls, mitigate identified risks, and address compliance gaps promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in risk management and compliance within insurance or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory frameworks and IA requirements.
• Must be qualified and approved by the Insurance Authority (IA) or eligible for approval.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
