The Company

Our client is a high-growth Blockchain company on a rapid trajectory towards an initial public offering (IPO) in the United States. We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented CFO to lead us through this critical next phase of growth, capital raising, and public market readiness.

The Role

IPO & Capital Markets Leadership:

• Serve as the primary architect and project lead for the entire US listing process.
• Partner with investment banks, legal counsel, auditors, and other advisors.
• Lead roadshows and communicate the company's financial story compellingly to institutional investors, analysts, and the market.

Strategic Finance & M&A:

• Drive the company's long-term financial planning, fundraising, and capital allocation strategy.
• Identify, evaluate, lead, and execute strategic mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures to accelerate growth and market position.
• Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger financial management.
• Model complex scenarios to support strategic decision-making for the Board and executive team.

Financial Operations & Control:

• Build, scale, and manage a world-class finance organization capable of supporting a public company.
• Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

Fintech/Crypto Industry Expertise:

• Navigate the unique financial, regulatory, and accounting challenges of the fintech/crypto/blockchain industry.
• Develop policies for digital asset management, valuation, custody, and reporting.
• Stay ahead of evolving regulations (SEC, FASB, etc.) impacting crypto assets and fintech operations.
• Communicate complex crypto-native concepts (e.g., tokenomics, protocol revenue) in clear, GAAP-compliant financial terms.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline.
• 10-15 years of hands-on M&A and corporate finance experience. Preference will be given to candidates who began their career in investment banking or M&A advisory and later transitioned to a fintech/blockchain/crypto firm, particularly with exposure to U.S. capital markets or public listing processes.
• Member of CPA is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Web3 business models is highly advantageous.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, corporate governance, and investor relations. Familiarity with crypto accounting standards and tools is a major plus.
