SeaYouHK is a Hong Kong S88-registered marine-conservation NGO dedicated to reconnecting the public—especially youth—with our ocean.We run regular beach clean-ups, marine education content, coastal monitoring, and upcycling art workshops to transform waste into creativity and awareness.We actively share environmental knowledge on Instagram & Threads @seayou.hk, using high-engagement storytelling, reels, and educational posts to inspire people to care about the ocean through approachable, modern content.As a young but fast-growing NGO, we are now looking for volunteer Social Content Creators to help us:What we hope to achieve with volunteer support • Produce engaging posts, reels, and captions for IG & Threads (ESG topics, waste issues, ocean facts, marine life, sustainable lifestyle etc.) • Create visually appealing content for our beach clean-ups, youth workshops, upcycling art sessions, and environmental campaigns • Strengthen our digital presence and reach more Hong Kong citizens • Assist in volunteer recruitment for beach clean-ups and educational projects • Help build a consistent, modern visual identity for our social media platforms

To ensure our Social Content Creator volunteers can work smoothly and confidently, SeaYouHK will provide: 1. Content Library & Raw Footage - We will provide a shared folder containing: Photos & videos from beach clean-ups, upcycling workshops, and events; Marine conservation factsheets; Ocean/eco-related references and visual materials 2. Social Media Guidelines - A simple but clear guide covering: Tone of voice (approachable, friendly, youth-focused), Post formats (Threads vs IG differences), Hashtag sets, Example posts that performed well; 3. Project Briefs & Ideas ListWe will provide weekly or bi-weekly content topics such as: “Ocean fact of the week” , “Before/after beach cleanup”, “Upcycling idea of the month”, “Environmental news explained simply”; 4. Direct Communication & Feedback - Volunteers will have direct access to our core team for: Fast feedback on drafts, Smooth approval workflow, Quick sharing of new events and updates

Why your help mattersHong Kong’s coastlines are heavily impacted by plastic waste, microplastics, and marine debris. Strong digital content can educate the public, shift behaviour, and bring more hands to protect our ocean.Your creativity will directly help: • Inspire civic engagement • Reduce waste entering the sea • Build awareness for environmental protection • Support a local grassroots NGO doing hands-on conservation work
