CMU OmniClear Limited (CMU OmniClear) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Exchange Fund.  It carries out the operation and business development activities of the Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) on behalf of the HKMA.  As part of the critical financial market infrastructure in Hong Kong, CMU is a central securities depository (CSD), providing secure and efficient clearing, settlement and custodian services for securities.  CMU OmniClear’s vision is to continuously enhance CMU service coverage, expand connectivity with other markets and upgrade the CMU infrastructure to provide market participants with comprehensive and quality services.

Senior Associate (IT Infrastructure Service - Network)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operations support on network infrastructure including configuration, administration, health check, traffic analysis and problem resolution

• Participate in network and security enhancement and revamp projects

• Serve as subject matter expert to the team in the areas of data network design, capabilities, operation, and maintenance

Requirements

• University degree in information technology, computer engineering or related fields

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in design, implementation and support of large scale mission critical network infrastructure, preferably in finance, banking or related fields

• Proven expertise and hands-on experience in a subset of the following:

  • Routing and switching such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NAT, QoS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, VRF and VPN

  • Network segmentation through various technologies such as routing and virtual networking

  • Firewalls, Zero Trust network security and network monitoring tools

  • Knowledge of VoIP and VC would be an advantage

• Professional certifications: CCNP / CISSP or equivalent

• Strong troubleshooting skills on data, voice and video networks

• Good command of both English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua

• Candidates with supplementary experience and qualifications will also be considered, even if they do not meet all of the specified requirements above

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Associate level.)
