Typical Accountabilities:
• Develops and maintains process and technology required in obtaining and analysing data sources

• Acts as a source of knowledge in area of expertise, defining and communicating current and future intelligence deriving from analysis

• Responsible for ensuring delivery of intelligence reports that are to time, quality, budget, project standards, and aligned with AstraZeneca’s strategy

• Enables different functions to share business intelligence by ensuring intelligence data is stored in a centrally accessible manner

• Introduces new tools and visualisation methods for gathering and presenting intelligence data

• Accountable for specialised research to deliver new proposals, co-ordinating delivery of best options or working models to enhance the effectiveness of strategy and portfolio contributions on a regional level

• Keeps own knowledge of best practices on business information and intelligence current

• Leads and implements globally agreed Business Information and Intelligence strategies including process and technology related to the function

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Bacherlor’s degree in relevant discipline; Significant experience in Business Information and Intelligence; Influencing and negotiation skills
• Desirable: Advanced degree within field and/or professional certification; Business Information and Intelligence; Project management experience
