Purchasing Officer / Assistant Officer (Meat Items)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist superior to perform full cycle of purchasing activities from sourcing, price negotiation, develop supplier network and long term partnership

• Maintain the purchasing database and records

• Support the regular review and analysis of product categories, supplier performance and market intelligence for team management review

• Support inventory control and shipment planning

• Conduct supplier performance review, factory audit and quality check

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Higher diploma graduate or above in Business Administration / Purchasing/ Supply Chain management or related discipline

• 3 years' or above relevant experience; Experienced in handling meat items is preferred 

• Interested in pursue career in purchasing and global sourcing in catering / F&B

• Efficient team player, self-motivated, well organized and able to work under pressure

• Possess good negotiation and communication skills

• Proficiency PC skills in MS words, Excel and Chinese-word processing

• Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
