Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer/ M&E Engineer to join our Hong Kong team. This role is responsible for managing construction, upgrade, and fit-out projects at our client centre, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of cost, quality, and safety. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, or project management.

• Strong knowledge of construction, M&E works, and local authority approval processes.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with consultants, contractors, and colleagues.

• Familiarity with project management tools, techniques, and methods.

• Proven expertise in project management, risk management, and quality control.

• Track record of delivering large, time-critical capital projects.

• Experience in mission-critical environments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the execution of data entre projects

• Commercial Management: Negotiated contracts that improved cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.

• Procurement Oversight: Managed procurement of major equipment, including long‑lead items, reducing risk of schedule delays.

• Operational Integration: Collaborated with Operations to enhance maintainability and reduce lifecycle costs.

• Technical Governance: Guided M&E consultants to provide robust, ISO‑aligned engineering solutions.

• Safety Compliance: Provide site supervision to ensure all works are up to the quality standard and in compliance with health and safety requirements
