Responsibilities:

• To achieve persistent targets in pursuit of the most favorable terms and profitability to the company

• To retain existing contracts and negotiate renewal contracts with agents and brokers in pursuit of the most favorable terms and profitability to the Company

• To develop and maintain a sales strategy and business plan for intermediaries and direct clients

• Communicate and cascade the agreed sales strategy to the intermediaries clearly and effectively

• To identify business opportunities and generate potential sales enquiries

• To serve agents/brokers and maintain good relationship with them with the aim to build up a strong customer base with agents/brokers

• To collect market intelligence on competitors’ activities including competitors’ products, pricing, catalogues, selling tactics, etc

• To perform underwriting according to the Company’s guidelines and within authorized limits

• To assist ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above

• With 2 - 4 years’ solid on the job experience including experience in expanding relationships and driving sales in new channels (experience in medical insurance business is preferred)

• Possess valid general insurance licence

• Strong relationship with intermediaries

• Customer-centric

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Proven leadership skills and possess qualities of sound judgement

• Self-motivated and result-oriented

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese

• Computer literacy in the use of MS Office
