Hoi Meng Trading (H.K.) Ltd

Hoi Meng Group has engaged in apparel manufacturing with over 7,000 employees within the group and served a number of the world renowned design labels, department stores and retailer for few decades.  We are new looking for high caliber candidate with details as follows :-

Shipping Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for materials & finished goods management (warehouse, documentation & operations)

  • Monitor and manage HK, China and Cambodia teams for daily operations.

  • Handle LC documents operation procedure

  • Communicate with local and overseas buyer’s logistics dept to ensure compliance with international shipping terms and contract wording.

  • Ensure goods are shipped in line with obligations to the sales contract.

  • Coordinate and control the shipments at HK, China and Cambodia. Prepare report of logistic costs for these regions

  • Manage business relations with forwarders & transportation companies. Participate in contractual terms negotiation

  • Constantly review operating flow, procedures, costs and recommend effective improvement initiatives for performance enhancement

  • Ensure accuracy on document and play an active part in team communications for achieving and delivering on-time delivery

  • Handle ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in logistic / supply chain management or related discipline

  • At least 5 years' working experience in garment industry with minimum 3 years in managerial level.

  • Strong knowledge / experience with US market.

  • Excellent inter-personal & communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, well-organized, service-oriented, good cost-benefit analysis skill, initiative and independent.

  • Good analytical mind and business sense.

  • Knowledgeable in ERP System

  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Computer applications: Ms Office, Chinese Word processing, and Internet.

  • Occasional travel to Southern China and Cambodia is required
