Job Description

The Department

The job holder assists the Transformation Communications team in the development and implementation of employee communications and engagement initiatives.

 

The Job

You will:

  • Plan, edit and write bilingual content for the Club’s internal communications channels, based on understanding of our employees’ perspective:
    • Liaise with internal teams to develop messages that meet the communication objectives
    • Maintain a consistent tone and style across content, while adapting the messaging based on the preferences and behaviours of target audience groups.
    • Create engaging communication through use of dynamic graphic design (e.g. HR newsletters and Clubwide Rapport)
  • Manage communication channel and content publishing:
    • Ensure content accuracy and timely publishing of news and information to employees across all channels.
    • Monitor and analyse the performance of various communication channels, and devise improvement plans to optimise reach and enhance usage.
  • Assist in planning and execution of communication campaigns and employee engagement events:
    • Prepare project plan with clear timelines; monitor and ensure timely completion.
    • Work closely with stakeholders from multiple divisions to organize and coordinate corporate events, ranging from managing logistics to designing format, creating event videos and planning different contingent scenarios.
    • Monitor and analyse the outcome and employee feedback; proactively generate new improvement ideas to further increase effectiveness and drive engagement.
  • Support design and implementation of Employee Engagement survey:
    • Work closely with stakeholders to manage project deliverables.
    • Upload or manage data on survey platform
    • Analyse results and prepare presentation charts with recommendations.

 

About You

Ideal qualification / experience:

  • A Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of experience, preferably with a focus on marketing communications and/or employee engagement
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with good editorial and storytelling skills
  • Good business acumen, analytical thinking, exceptional interpersonal and communications skills as well as keenness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Effective project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in developing engaging content formats, in both written and digital format (e.g., infographics)
  • Interest and experience in web design, web content management system and Photoshop will be an advantage
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).

 

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
