• Develop and implement market risk management strategies, policies, and procedures for the Treasury Department in line with the bank's overall risk management framework.
• Monitor and assess market risk exposures across various financial instruments, including currencies, interest rates, commodities, and derivatives.
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to provide risk management advice and support on trading activities and investment decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management, risk committees, and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct risk awareness training and provide guidance to junior members of the team.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and rating agencies.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in market risk management within a financial institution, preferably with exposure to treasury operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and risk management techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in market risk assessment, stress testing, and risk modeling.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
