We are currently seeking a Pedorthist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, designing, and fitting custom footwear and orthotics for patients with foot and lower limb conditions.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to identify foot and lower limb conditions and determine appropriate treatment options
• Laser foot scanning, prescribing and fitting of custom foot orthotics to treat patients’ symptoms due to abnormal foot biomechanics.
• Professional fitting of functional footwear, knee braces and other devices to improve patient comfort and mobility
• Providing education and support to patients on proper footwear selection and foot care
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, podiatrists, and doctors to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Managing inventory of materials and supplies
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

• BSc graduate or Certification as a Pedorthist
• Knowledge of foot anatomy, biomechanics, and common foot conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of our clinical team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
