Purpose of Role

We are looking for a creative and ambitious individual who is committed in being part of our engineering workforce for the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with US development team and project execution team in orient to turn initial concepts into feasible products.
• Monitor product development schedule and lead progress through tool start to production. 
• Analyse various engineering design options to drive for the best product performance, quality, lowest product cost and shortest development path.
• Issue and maintain product specifications, product & tool BOM.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary team members, global colleagues, and vendors.
• Product debug and process evaluation from tool start to production.
• On-site review on initial production line setup for manufacturing vendors.
• Materials exploration and evaluation.
• Having experience in manufacturing processes and various tool fabrication processes etc would be advantage.
• Frequent travels to Mainland of China and other countries.

Years of Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Production or Product development, ideally in toy industry is preferable.
• A solid individual contributor in his/her professional field.

Technical Skills Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software like PTC Creo or Soildworks is an advantage.
• Basic skills in tool building.
• Basic knowledge of design for Assembly and Manufacture / Design to Value (DtV) / Plastic resins and Mechanical design.
• Good command in written and oral English, Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of toy regulations and standards would be advantage.
