Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify, evaluate, and introduce potential new suppliers, and establish and maintain a qualified supplier list.

• Schedule and conduct audits of suppliers’ business practices and technical capabilities.

• Analyze supplier reliability and performance data to recommend long-term partnerships.

• Conduct detailed cost analysis (e.g., cost of goods sold), understand raw materials, processes, labor hours, and profit margins, and establish cost models.

• Lead price negotiations, achieving annual cost reduction targets through VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering), bidding, and alternative sourcing.

• Assist in New Product Development (NPI) by providing data on preprocessing and supplier capabilities.

• Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers

• Work closely with quality, R&D, production, and planning departments to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, Materials, Industrial Engineering) or Supply Chain Management.

• 3+ years of procurement or supplier development experience in manufacturing, preferably with international procurement or cross-border supply chain experience.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in office software (Excel, PPT, Word) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Good command of English and Chinese.
